Japan Only PSP Games Suikoden, Tales Of Phantasia X, And Macross Drop In Price

Calling all importers, Sony is re-releasing a bunch of Japanese PSP and PS3 games as part of the PlayStation the Best (Japan’s Greatest Hits) series. (PS3, PSP)

Sad thing is, they'll most likely never localize any of these great games. I've got the Macross PSP games and love those. At least I don't need to know how to speak Japanese to enjoy the hell of them.

The PS3 Macross DYRL Hybrid pack game is pretty cool too. Basically it's the DYRL portion of the PSP games, but with much better graphics.

What have they done to Suikoden! What the F is this Multiverse crap.. I want Harmonia, I want to learn about the Sindar, I want the old Suikodent back!

I'm sorry, Suikoden is my favorite series ever and I don't like the direction it's going. . . but I'd still buy it if it were localized.

The last suikoden (on psp) is actually good.
Yes it has nothing to do on the original universe but still a good game is a good game.

I heard is half assed tough, i mean even the 108 stars of Destiny arent full portrayed just the more relevant ones. And the hero talks, thats a bummer.

Well you haven't played the game.

First the hero talking is not an issue ..it was time for suikoden to get with the times ! The hero itself is adequate and sure of himself ..to the point that he is indeed reassuring to his allies ..
All the 108 stars have trivia to talk about because you can organise parties(diner) where conversations can start if you have the right people, it's a good dynamic.

The battle system is goodly with some good ideas .
Overall having finished this game twice and hated teikreis , i can say that this suikoden psp is a good game held back by the psp and the lack of budget.

Suikoden 2 & 5 will still stay at the top of my favorites but a good game will always be a good game...too bad not many will be able to experience it because it won't be localised.

I absolutely LOVE Suikoden 1. I like Suikoden 2 too but the first one has a special place in my heart. The soundtrack has to be one of THE greatest EVER.

Gee thanks...now I feel like playing Suikoden again. Maybe I should buy the PSN version and play it on my Vita/PSP. I have both as original copys on PS1 though :)
