Reuben Levine writes, "It is said, more often than not by publishers, that used game sales are the primary scourge of the gaming industry; the greatest target of everyone’s ire being GameStop. But as the industry moves beyond the likes of GameStop with the successful advent of the digital download, the used games industry (and it practically is its own industry) evolves as well. Innovative ways to combat used game sales have begun to pop up, as have clever ways to trade in on the titles you no longer wish to own. Green Man Gaming, for one, has come up with a system to trade-in your 'used' digital games. But for as much as the methods change, so too do the limitations the other side of the fence tries to impose on the consumer.
