Pokemon X and Y: Get technical with stats and screens of the starter Pokemon

Last Tuesday Nintendo announced the first ‘Pokemon’ game designed for the Nintendo 3DS handheld named ‘Pokemon X’ and ‘Pokemon ‘Y’. Now Nintendo has released new stats and details on the starter Pokemon for the game.

In the game ‘Pokemon X’ and ‘Pokemon Y’ players will start with three Pokémon (Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie), the Legendary Pokémon are (Xerneas and Yveltal). This is the first time official artwork has been provided for the starter Pokémon (3DS, Pokemon X and Y)

So, the stats are just which wins against which? Hasn't this been true since the first game that grass beats water, water beats fire, fire beats grass?

Regardless, I'm going with Fennekin. I've loved fire types since Charmander back in the day lol.

me personally I always been going for grass and that seems to be not changing this time around. I like Chespin. :)

I can't wait to see what their second and final forms look like. Right now it's looking like Froakie then Fennekin but it could always change. Black and White was going to be Tepig then Oshawott but that got flipped around.

I'm growing highly impatient about details about this game. More gen 6 pokemon, new region, how we can get pokemon transfered from Black and White 2. I skipped over black and white 2 but I'm going to play it before this to get a collection on that game.

I think the stats there are talking was this part at the bottom.

· Xerneas: Height: 9’10” Weight: 474.0 lbs.
· Yveltal: Height: 19’00” Weight: 447.5 lbs.

Good for someone who hasn't played before...

but no doubt most of the audience will be those who have already played previous Pokemon games so... yeah...

Fire strong against Grass? Obviously :P

X and Y? lol Ran out of colors?
CraigUK  +   860d ago
The way I understood it is that X and Y refer to dimensions, and a third game will come out called Z which makes up x,y,z the 3 dimensions for 3D.

Maybe i am wrong.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yeah... that jokes been done a million times since it's announcement :/

CraigUK  +   860d ago
It was a joke? the game is in the '3D'S, makes sense to me.

I don't play pokemon since I was 12. Im 21 now and it doesn't interest me. So no I wouldn't know when it was announced nor pay attention to it. I just happened to see it today.

There are already like over 10 pokemon games. There's no need for me to buy 3ds and that game.
Snookies12  +   860d ago
Then get it for other good games...? There are quite a few good ones in the 3DS library, kinda hard to NOT find something worth buying one over at this point.

The amount of games they make shouldn't have anything to do with whether you want to play a new version of it. Nothing wrong with PC's but there are thousands of different models each year.
