A New Beginning – Final Cut (PC) | FTG Review

FTG Contributor Chaz King writes:

A New Beginning – Final Cut has won multiple awards in Germany, including Best German Game 2011 and Best Story 2011. I’m not sure what happened to this port, but something was lost in the translation, quite possibly literally. The story is very simplze: the world is torn asunder from global warming, and Fay and her “team” live underground. They devise a plan to go back in time through the use of algae and try to prevent the end of the world. What follows is the most unintelligible mess of plot points and logic that we have ever had the misfortune to play through, heavy on the eco-friendly message, with enough guilt trips thrown into the dialogue to make your mother blush. (A New Beginning, PC) 5.5/10
