The Controller Online writes: "We’ve probably mentioned, once or twice before, that Defiance is an intriguing project simply because of it’s ambition. Defiance will release in April 2013 as a TV show on the SyFy network, and as a multi-platform, third person shooter, MMO. While the two will be set in different parts of the world, the events of the game are planned to bleed into the show in some manner. This is all very interesting, but a lot of it will be moot if the game isn’t any good so we just had to give it an early test drive. Here’s how that went."
