Wii U’s 2013 lineup looks a bit barren thus far

NE: "Let’s take a look at the Wii U’s Japanese lineup for 2013. Only three games have confirmed dates – Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2, Tank! Tank! Tank! (already released on the eShop), and Need for Speed: Most Wanted."

Third parties are being stubborn and want to ignore the Wii U just like the Wii; Nintendo will once again have to handle the burden of supplying games for the system.

Even if that were true it will have enough games to satisfy me. I have no doubt that there will be a new Metroid, Mario Kart, Fzero, 3-D mario, Zelda, and some sick ass new IP's. BTW, Dragon Quest X and Monster Hunter look like they could be really awesome.

Problems is, when will those titles come out? See thats the big problem right their and Monster Hunter is just the old one for Wii in HD (Which I preorder because I hate how bad it looks on the Wii).

They need some good titles fast and not ones leftover from other consoles.

I don't think it is necessarily about third parties ignoring the Wii U.

We can argue about specs all day, but maybe third parties received dev kits to far along into the development of some of their announced games.

I wouldn't worry, I'm sure that there will be plenty of third party games announced throughout the year.

I think it comes down to Nintendo's recent tactic of not announcing games until they are far enough along in development.

The only exception to that tactic was the new Smash Bros, and that was only to salvage a horrible E3.

For a person like myself; the Wii U's lineup is pretty decent. PS3/360 owners can withstand without purchasing a Wii U (Though ZombiU is really awesome).

Whenever the high profile exclusives drop, they might become more intrigued.

Most certainly we will see very interesting releases in Q3/Q4 of which we just don't know yet. Nintendo surely knows about its situation and they won't let 2013 pass without a big bang at some point.
