No, Sony Did Not Patent a New Move Controller

The big news of the day is that Sony has patented a new Move controller… except they didn’t. The patent in question, which features images of a different Move controller that you can see below, is simply a slightly changed one from 2008. Yes, 2008, two years before the Move came out.
