Policenauts and Hideo Kojima's Adventure Game Roots

1UP: "Why you should care about the non-Metal Gear side of Konami's biggest star." (Culture, Hideo Kojima, Policenauts)

How I wish they were able to officially localize Policenauts like planned. Oh well, maybe Kojima and Co. will remake this game some day.

how can you even remake a game like this?

I so wish Konami would put this game & Snatcher on-line for people to buy. Even better would be if they remade them or gave them a sequel.

I don't think these games would sell well today without big changes. Sort of like the CD FMV games of the 90's. They did well then but wouldn't today.

I 'm inclined to agree. Sewer Shark was like a kick in the teeth back then. 80% bad video 20% bad gameplay. Most of the of the bad SEGA CD games relied heavily on video. The real sega cd gems were comparable to early 2D PS1 games gameplay wise.
