What Do I Play Now?

Game Informer: Some great games arrived in our consoles and PCs in 2012. But if you’ve already enjoyed and fully explored your favorite recent game, where do you turn next to find something similar? We’ve concocted a list of some of last year’s favorites, and tied each to a similar game that might scratch the same itch. (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Left 4 Dead, PC, PS3, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Valkyria Chronicles, Xbox 360)

Buy a PC and Play STALKER
I can't emphasis enough just how great the STALKER series is. It's one of the finest games ever made. Yes it has some small issues here and there but the overall satisfaction and gameplay you get from STALKER is absolutely incredible!

STALKER to me is right up there with Half Life as my favorite series and that is pretty FN good to be on the same level as HL.

STALKER is a FPS/RPG game with a heavy emphasis on FPS as it has Lean, Kneel, Prone, and Ballistics that takes place over a sandbox free roam type of area Above and Below ground along with every building being enterable. It has a very nice story and lots of side quest that really help you out on the main story.

You can literally spend 100 hours roaming the Zone and being greatly entertained without doing the story as Exploration is Welcomed in STALKER.

ALso STALKER has a Super Strong Mod community with High Texture mods and total conversion mods like Priboi Story which adds another 25 Hours of Story and Game play to Shadow of Chernobyl.

STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl
STALKER Clear Sky
STALKER Call of Pripyat

You can usually get all 3 from Steam for like $45 or cheaper and I'm talking over 150 hours of gameplay, now that's Good Value!

Nothing. Go home an be a family man.

There's always another hundred games to play. Just look at a list of games by year, throw a dart, see what people think of that, throw another dart if it was universally panned.
