The State Of The Fighting Game Community – Women In The FGC

"What exactly is the woman's place in our community, if they have one, and what value does that position hold? Perhaps bringing awareness to what women can offer in the FGC will help ease the tension, and also teach some morality when it comes to "What exactly can you say when a woman is present, and how far can you go with the regular insults you'd give a male opponent?"" - FirstDropShow.com (Culture, Industry)

not this again... Why don't we talk about how Pokemon will be part of the FGC soon? I mean, it will be at APEX 2013 today and Smash Bros too! Smash Bros might even be at Evo this year if Sony doesn't gets in the way to push PlayStation All-Stars by donating tons of money to BreatCancer.org (and they probably will).

Anyway if we have gays like Ricky Ortiz and transgenders like Kayo Police then girls are fine. But the truth is that the FGC in the USA is kind of ghetto in spirit and the humor there is not something normal girls can handle but SherryJenix can handle it! That girl gets mad respect for that. But that incident with Super Yan and Ari was just between them and Ari was banned from many tournaments anyway. BTW it was Kotaku who blew this out of proportions though... Like always.
