Well, Joe. This talk is a waste of time. The Vice President is more than a figurehead who takes on entirely symbolic tasks to boost the administration's popularity.

It's really strange how history keeps on repeating itself. I was a kid barely in my teens when the Mortal Kombat saga was unravelling on the news. I also remember the craziness after Columbine, with Marilyn Manson and violent PC games getting the blame.

Yet again, I think the right people are asking the wrong questions, or more to the point the right people are focussing on the wrong issues. First deal with the source of the problem. Understand why kids feel the need to walk into a school and kill their peers (and then themselves).

Everything else is merely background noise, and even if you can ban violent movies, games, books, it won't solve the real problem. In fact, it won't stop school shootings (incidentally a phenomena that presumably started in the late 1920s in the US)

Biden go sit in the corner and continue trying to figure out how take the lid off your pudding cup.

As far as I remember there are age ratings in place so young children cannot buy violent video games. It is the responsability of the parents to not let them.
