Nintendo went a step further in promotion of the game by offering a limited edition console bundle in Europe. Now, that bundle will be released in the U.S. as seen in a recent magazine ad. (3DS, Fire Emblem: Awakening)

The awesome limited edition that so many of the Japanese missed out on... would be an instant purchase if it was a XL 3DS

I agree, this seems like a missed opportunity...

I'd trade in my 3DSXL for that if it was a 3DSXL as well, too bad. On a higher note I'm super excited for the new Fire Emblem ^^

Yea I like my Black 3DS. If it was XL I'd buy it day one.

I'll need to upgrade to XL eventually once Smash Brothers is released. It will almost be a must.

What angers me the most is that they didn't release this limited edition bundle when the 3DS got launched. I mean come on. I already have a 3DS, and I do want this one too, but I obviously wouldn't want to pay the money again, it would be so much better if they released this the first time, rather than now.
