Kyle dug himself into a deep hole with Minecraft Pocket Edition. Scott kept his Vita busy with Final Fantasy Tactics. We hash out the classic PC vs console debate. The Video Game Fantasy League holds its first expansion draft as we welcome Anthony and Kevin aboard with two picks each.
ummmm....dude......there is no debate
pc DESTROYS console in every imaginable way, you can't even claim the convienience card anymore, since console games are WAY more of a hassle than a steam game, put the discin, dl the patch, install the patch, wait forever for the game to load, agree to terms and service for online, wait forever to find a match of crappy peer to peer with 12 other people playing on sub-hd jaggie covered maps
pc plays 95% of all ps3/360 games and plays EVERY OTHER CONSOLE game ever created up to ps3/360
ds, wii, ps2, ps1, psp, n64, gamecube, ds, genisis, snes....ect....ect....ect...al l flawless, upscaled, 60 beautiful frames
and there are THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of games on pc that will NEVER be on console, but I guaratee, 100% that I will be playing uncharted 3 and killzone 3 in 1080p at 60 frames on my pc in the next 3 years
let's face it, last gen ps3/360 games look TERRIBLE, they run terrible, are over priced, and saturated with dlc, online passes, awful multiplayer per to peer garbage connections
there is no debate, pc going up against console is like rocket launcher vs. plastic spork
its wrong to even think next gen ps4/720 have a chance and competing on any real level with pc, they already lost
you will be lucky to get 720p with 4x aa, or maybe, if are really lucky, 1080p with 2x aa at 30 frames
in other words, what a mid-spec, common gaming rig was doing 5 years ago
congrats ps4, welcome to 2007, when ever and IF ever, you do come out
