Borderlands 2 game update released today, mocks its own game glitches

Gearbox Software has released patch notes today for a game update that was applied to the PC version of “Borderlands 2.” Finally fixed was an issue that plagued the Mechromancer since the class DLC was first introduced and players should finally no longer see their Deathtrap companion restoring the shield’s of enemies. Gearbox added that the improper shield restoration was hilarious, but fans have to wonder if a class-breaking glitch that annoyingly helped opponents while leaving the player’s shields depleted and went on to go unaddressed for months was ever found hilarious by anyone. (Borderlands 2, PC)

ITS A GAME! Stop getting butthurt over EVERYTHING. No need to attempt to sensationalize every single mistake and glitch in a video game.

True, but I do feel like Gearbox gets a pass on a lot of stuff that other game developers get crucified for and that goes from dlc to glitches. Still, I do agree with you, but about games in general and not just Borderlands 2.

I dunno, I've been playing as mechromancer since the steam sale and never noticed the glitch, it couldn't have been THAT prevalent. I got a kick out of the patch notes though. Gearbox is one of those developers that seems like they have a blast at work.
