Learn the history of cloud gaming through this nifty infographic

The term ‘cloud gaming’ is something which has only entered the gaming lexicon in the past few years. While many are now familiar with services like OnLive and Gaikai, the roots of cloud gaming are much deeper than many are aware of. In fact, it was back during the 1950′s that a scientist named Herb Grosch predicted that one day we would all be running our computers off huge data centers. (Casual games, Gaikai, Industry, NVIDIA, OnLive, PC, Retro, Tech)

AKA "A History of Failures" or "The Consistent Flat-line of Cloud Gaming"

Phantom - DOA (actually, "Arrival" isn't even the word).
Genkai - Being used for almost nothing.
Onlive - headed for bankruptcy before foolish investors returned to throw money down the hole - Will more than likely complete its journey to bankruptcy before you know it.
NVIDIA Grid - Poor direction, too limited.

This infograph is like 90% INTERNET and ONLINE gaming history.
