Do Pokemon X and Y really look like an N64 game?

Does Pokemon X and Y have poor graphics compared to the N64 games? Obviously if you're a fanboy, yes. Satire. (3DS, Pokemon X and Y)

Well the graphics just look a bit uneven, I havent heard anyone compare it to an N64 game though O_o. Like the overworld looks a little pixely and rough around the edges, and I have to say Im not a fan of the bulbous character models. But the lighting effects in certain areas and the Pokemon models are very impressive.

seriously, the N64 had better graphics....

I hope no one actually is saying that. If they are then they obviously forget what N64 games look like.

Maybe it looks worse than an N64 game, does that really matter? It is comparing apples to oranges.

This is a jump forward for the series, and nobody who has been playing pokemon games on a DS since for the past five years is complaining.

The Pokemon game I've played was Diamond, which was back in 2007-08 so that's around 5 years ago. I can't belive it's been so long! I've played the classics durring that time but never even bought a new one since is crazy to me because I love Pokemon! I'm super excited for this game and not complaining at all, I'm anticipating.

The battles looks great, but I think they should've made the overworld more like Animal Crossing.

I'm glad people are calling out this game's graphics.

Pokedex 3D and hell even the new Mystery Dungeon game looks years better than Pokemon X/Y which is really sad to be honest.
