5 Reasons To Be Excited For Gears of War: Judgment

The next installment to the Gears of War franchise is releasing this year and with enthusiasm it is presenting players with new elements to the series. This game is definitely a game to look forward to if you are a fan of the series. Gears of War: Judgment brings players a new experience with a prequel to the game that first stole their hearts as well as new experiences for online multiplayer. Releasing March 19th of 2013, this third-person shooter should be a game every Xbox 360 fan keeps an eye on. Overall the emotion fans have toward the game is positive, however, this game seems to have generated a bit less attention that the Gears of War titles before it. With that being said, we are asking ourselves why the lesser amount of anticipation has been placed on this game that looks to be just as promising as all the others in the franchise. Gears of War: Judgment is being underestimated; this game will give players the experience they can only expect to get from a Gears game.

There better be an opiton to go back to the old control settings. You don't just change them for the sake of it because you want the game to feel more differnt then the other three. The controls are an important part of the franchise, especialy if your playing online.

Pretty sure Destiny is only a TIMED exclusive for the 720 and will be released on the PS4 a year later, but it hasn't even been officially announced yet so LOL @ even mentioning it.

-_- sales =/= quality for the millionth time. Seriously though. Gears just doesn't seem to have a lot of hype. It hasn't even reached the top 10 for pre orders in the US. http://www.vgchartz.com/pre... Considering these are VGchartz numbers, they aren't official. But still, there's is no denying that the hype for the next Gears installment is indeed VERY small.

Do you really think Activision will let Bungie make an Xbox 360 when thay could make twice as much money going multiplatform?

And God of War: Ascension alone will easily outsell Gears of War: Judgment considerably, it may not have as much hype as GTA V, TLoU or Bioshock Infinite but it has a ton more than GeoW:J and it's pre-orders are more than doubling it in both franchises strongest region the US, God of War is a much bigger franchise than Gears of War in Europe and Japan so if it's already outselling it in the US it will destroy it worldwide. Hell, at the rate it's going Gears of War: Judgment will only barely outsell The Last of Us so it has no chance at beating God of War: Ascension.

Sadly I think Epic has already killed excitement for this game for long term gears fans.. no locusts? no dbno? While I will still most likely get the game, I'll be doing so with zero expectations instead of the hype initially had for this game at the announcement.

Well man it is a prequel so I imagine this is before the locusts and whatever else that we first saw in the first gow. But being prob the last in the series to appear on x360 hopefully it goes out in style and sets us up for a dramatic return on 720!

Looking to close out the Xbox 360 in style! The game that got me to buy an Xbox 360 in the first place was when I saw Gears Of War for the first time, I knew I wanted an Xbox 360 and I got one on launch date.

Now that we are so close to the end of this console and the release of the next one, I'm happy they are closing out the exclusive series that got so many people into the Xbox 360 in the first place.

I think the game looks great, and Halo 4 has taught me that the Xbox 360 still has some juice left!
