Media Create hardware sales (12/24 - 12/30, 12/31 - 1/6)

It's a double dose of Japanese sales data today. Tracker Media Create took last week off, but has now reported two weeks worth of sales. (3DS, Nintendo DS, PS Vita, PS3, PSP, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Vita is doing better. 33K? That's surprising.

yeah, big jump last week, but check out the PSP - 54K units, it almost outsold the PS3. That's crazy.

Yeah, i hope developers see the trend. Also for the wii U ( Third parties like developers of castlevania) i hope these results will convince them.
Neonridr  +   786d ago
well now look here, Nintendo has the top 3 spots now. Wii U seems to be doing quite fine..
Sanquine90  +   786d ago
Wii u sold 69000 that is not so good, however there are not even systemsellers in the line up. Imagine something like smash brothers announced:D Boom BOOM

All it boils down to is system sellers. The 3DS is primed in Japan look at it sell. The XL and 3DS are the same platform like the PS3 sim and PS3 super slim are.

The wiiu will sell about 10M in Japan in 6 years , the 3DS about 30M. That's not to say the wiiu isn't doing well but the 3DS is doing astronomically.....

@sanguine90 - Indeed.

Monster Hunter Ultimate , Rayman Legends , Lego City , Bayonetta 2 , Pikmin 3 will all move millions of Units combined.

I can guarantee the wiiu will finish 2013 on about 9M+ units worldwide.

Wow , i am getting downvoted? I just said it is not good. If you compare it to the 3DS. Just be real it has no systemsellers right now and it already sells like hotcakes.

@kingofwiiU

Yeah, as an owner i already searched :D Bayonetta 2 alone will shift some great numbers. Do not forget a zelda :D

Here have an extra bubble:D

great ps3 and psp numbers again. vita doing better.

biggest shopping week of the year and the wii u is down.. oh dear.

great 360 numbers as per usual.

Japan's sales aren't representative of the holidays as much as they are in NA and Europe. Boxing Day doesn't have quite the appeal that it does in NA with all it's crazy deals and sales.

Wii U is selling fine right now, again, wait for something other than Monster Hunter to arrive on it and watch how many units it will move.

Vita needs a mandatory 4GB card in all packages, and reduce the price of others by 30%~40%. All digital games need that $5 discount and Vita needs to be priced at $200 rather than bundling 2 games or 1 game at $250. Needs to happen by summer 2013.

^My suggestion to boost vita sales.
PS. PS4+Vita $500 and PS4 $350. random thought :)

Shame the ps2 went out of production. It was destroying the 360 in sales.

Those sales will probably just go to the PS3, if not now, certainly after the next price drop (likely timed to coincide with the PS4 announcement), I reckon.

Wii u sales are ok, if they keep this pace 5 millions by April is a possible number.
