While the announcement there’s going to be a Dark Souls 2 is great, some have been worried by co-director Tomohiro Shibuya’s comments that it would be “more straightforward and understandable”. It’s not the end of the world though; here are 6 ways From Software can pull it off.
Edit: No Blastoise. Have to correct you there. Dark souls has a BIG online community. Not necessarily a good one. In my experience, the members of the online community are unbelievably stuck up about the way you play the game. I mean, please forgive me for using a weapon they put in the game because it's very effective.
Edit @ Above. Well, I hang around on the Wiki and the chats a lot. And a I've met a lot of cool people and most people are willing to help you out & answer any questions and stuff. *Shrug*
Everything from weapons/armor, abilities, levels, enemies, story...etc to the tons and tons of easter eggs you find in the game.
It's what makes this game special compared to other games.
Some are going to look online for answers but don't ruin the experience for people who just want to enjoy the game as it was made to be by adding all these unnecessary "straight up" answers.
Any of the things listed can be figured out with a little more game play time, AND all of them are part of the game and story and the whole experience of what the original designers want the player to feel.
The author clearly does not understand the soul series and only treating it as an everyday action game.
The only one I agree with is 2. They do need to make it easier to summon your friends. I don't even care if it breaks the immersion for a moment because having another player come in your game, completely naked, waving their murakumo around is gonna break your immersion, anyway. They need to make it easier to play the game with friends.
2. make Hidetaka Miyazaki the director.
3. make Hidetaka Miyazaki the director.
4. make Hidetaka Miyazaki the director.
5. make Hidetaka Miyazaki the director.
6. describe things like crafting bett... make Hidetaka Miyazaki the director!
By the way these games imo aren't really hard you just need to grind alot and level up and learn from every death. But once you have the right magic and weapons (which need grinding in order to receive) it is a piece of cake.
