What CES 2013 says about the state of the game industry
GamaSutra - Game Developer magazine editor Patrick Miller argues how the influx of game-related announcements at this year's CES hints at a tumultuous -- yet exciting -- 2013.
(CES 2013, Industry, PS2)
It says that Android is rapidly eating its way as the Open and Free Universal Gaming Standard OS.
First we had free radio, free television, and now Android, the free computer operating system. has positioned itself using the underlying principles that made these technology household necessity and its taking video games along with it to the mainstream.
LoL -that's what I was going to say, but you beat me too it..
Yeah E3 is where you will know what's happening in gaming... - and hopefully what's happening is Gaming is about to be amazing with the launch of PS4 & Xbox 720
All CES 2013 told us is 4K is where HDTV is headed...
But- -2013- is Soon to be the -Best Gaming year ever-..
Aliens: Colonial Marines Crysis 3 Tomb Raider BioShock Infinite The Last of Us Grand Theft Auto V Grid 2 Metro: Last Light Project CARS Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6: Patriots Watch Dogs
and after that I'm broke...all of those are must-have games -and after all that I still have to buy a PS4... LMAO
The gaming industry is screwed. It's so full of itself right now. Thinking CES should have a significant number of gaming-related announcements is just part of how ridiculous things are now.
Nvidia, Valve etc

CES is NOT a Gaming event therefore don't expect breaking news or any announcements there, PERIOD!
You shouldn't judge the gaming industry of this weeks events, if you do then you have a mixed bag of Apples and Oranges lol
Nothing.
Because CES has nothing to do with video games.
