XCOM: Enemy Unknown now available on Xbox Live Games on Demand for $59.99

I know, right? You'd think that because they aren't being physically distributed, they'd be priced lower. But no; same price, and in some cases more expensive than retail.

So much for competitive pricing.

It's dumb, I agree. However, the reason you see digital console games on par with retail store prices is because they don't want to compete. It's different for PCs because most PC sales are digital anyway.
