Will give the Sonic & All Stars Racing Demo a try and the Orgarhythm demo. And I'm surprised Medal of Honor: Warfighter dropped in price so quickly.

EDIT: Where is Life of Pixel? I guess the store didn't fully update, there are still a few items missing from the update.

YES DEMON SOULS!!! Was given a ps3 free but its Blurau drive didn't work, so I stuck to downloading the games (Gonna have to end up buying a new one anyway cuz I need to play MGS4 I've waited way too long) but after playing Dark Souls on Xbox I've been really wanting to play the predecessor.

WTF is going on with the PSone and PS2 classics, Sony?

There are 100's of classic games people are begging for to be on the PSN Store and you give us fucking Dora the Explorer and Disney???

While those games don't appeal to you or me sony has to cover all their bases. Out of all the home consoles on the market the ps3 is probably the least appealing for the kiddy demographic. It's a huge market and sony need to cater to it.

So.. Sony's strategy are for moms and dads to buy a ps3, sign up to the psn, browse the store, see Dora the Explorer, think 'Wow, the ps3 is awesome for children' and then spread the word to other parents? Sounds like the best marketing idea ever.

Many twenty/thirty something gamers have young children. Parents buy gaming consoles for teens who have younger siblings. This is a large part of the market and they need to provide content for them. It just makes your console a more attractive product. I don't see what's so hard to understand about that.

Davah, I don't understand how you can question what Room414 has said. Isn't it obvious from the continued sales dominance of the PS3, the success of the PS2 and the PS1, that Sony know what they're doing? And the PSP is no slouch either. Room414 is quite right, Sony cater to the parents of the family because they know that they are the people that eventually buy games for their children. They also know that when the PS4 releases, those same children (who will some day be teens and then adults with children of their own) will be given their parents PS3 for their bedrooms. The cycle of promotion and heritage is the perfect strategy. Nostalgia works too ... ask Nintendo.

why are the all stars costumes so expensive? can i buy them all in bulk?
Godchild1020  +   932d ago
I believe it's 14.99 for all 20 costumes when bought as a set. The costumes are the preorder bonuses.

14.99 is slightly better. 10 would be ideal though.

Great: Five Dora the Explorer games. That's -just- what we needed.

Not Dot Hack.
Not Legacy of Kain.
Not Final Fantasy.
Not Suikoden.
Not Dragon Quest.
Not Fatal Frame.
Not Yakuza.

Nope: we needed Dora the Explorer, Dora the Explorer, Dora the Explorer, Dora the Explorer, and Dora the Explorer.

Dammit Sony! You must be doing something wrong! Start reaching out to publishers! Encourage them--actively--to put their games up on PSN! And if there's some reason they're not doing so, maybe re-evaluate your requirements for allowing games to go up in the store!

After removing b/c, it's the very least you could do.

you do realise it's not a simple matter of 'Oh hi, can you put your game on PSN?'

They have to convert it, test it, QA it. It's a process.

Is it wrong that I've been considering buying PSN copies of Dark Souls and Demon Souls... even though I already own both on disc, and have the former on Steam as well?

Nothing wrong undead! Praise the sun!

A fool is his money are soon parted.
banjadude  +   931d ago
Nope, I do that for a lot of my PC games (buy the physical and the digital).

Earthworm Jim HD for 99 cents? Groovy. I'd buy that for a dollar.

God Of War ascension multiplayer beta is fun as hell! Wow that game takes skill you can't just button mash your way to victories. It has a rock paper scissors combat aspect to it along with blocking and parrying. Wow I think I will go play it some more right now lol.
