I actually think it is. I was running an Emulator for this one but I believe a friend of mine had it on his Nintendo Wii at one point. Awesome game!

It is on Wii VC and it is a hard as nails game. But I wouldn't have it any other way. This is the baddest Contra game I've ever played--the graphics, weapons, and pace are perfect with the traditional Contra run-and-gun style. If this game allowed the Konami code it would be the Contra everyone talked about.

Bubble up sir! Well said, it's action packed from beginning to end with explosions and bad guys coming at you from all directions.

The music and presentation was absolutely nailed. I believe the Japanese version had a code for extra lives or something that helped out a bit but the US port did not...bummer =)
