Maybe they are fans of the first two games or big survival horror fans in general? Seems like many Dead Space fans have been left underwhelmed by what they know about Dead Space 3.. I'd understand why they can wait and wouldn't enjoy it.

This game is already going to flop thanks to the removal of horror so it's more run & gun. Co-op kills it off even more. I wouldn't be surprised if they had some AI wandering around you that you have to babysit the whole game (or even part of the game).
definitely agree, dunno of a game that has successfully kept the horror and implemented coop, RE5 being a primary example, they have to amp up the bullets flying and non stop action -_- personally i think horror genre is dead, atleast on console, the few good horror games have been on flash and play through tablets and pcs and such.

In all the gameplay videos of DS3 I've barely seen any precision limb cutting, all I've seen has been automatic rifles. This is not an arcade shooter! stop making it feel like it!

You can still play campaign solo. No one tagging along like the 1st 2 dead space games.
The game doesn't force any co-op on ya unlike Resident Evil 5-6.
I hope there's still that great replay value for this 3rd installment.
And I always find it fun looking for strategies on the web for dealing with necros on higher difficulties.
I am just hoping for a big end fight like the first one. I wasn't very satisfied with Dead Space 2's final boss battle.
