Good to see that it's getting a major update in the graphics department.

Not a fan of the new art style. Don't like the chibi style at all. They should have just used Gamecube style of Colosseum.

I didn't like Colosseum's graphics at all, but I'd rather they have cel shaded animé instead of the chibi style. To make it more like the series, although I'm sure many don't want to associate the games with the series, some of my best memories was watching the first season.

It is a major visual update, but it actually looks less appealing to me now in the 3D view than it did in plain orthographic 2D.

In the 2D version, environments would be textured with plants for example and all those plants would be the same image repeated. In 3D I find this looks quite bad.

Oh well, it's not as if it's going to be a bad game so I'll get it anyway. You'd have to be quite genius to screw up a traditional Pokemon game.

I hope the camera angle is somewhat adjustable. This would allow us to flip from the classic top-down to the extreme (imo, 2nd image in article) forward facing view. This would hopefully make it similar to original and mitigate some of your concerns.

I don't expect the views would be fully customisable, but the option of some view angles would be much appreciated.
