Whoa. Platinum is awesome. They sure know how to make a pretty game.

they are one of the talented studios out there

No, they're one of the most overrated studios out there. The games they make all end up mediocre and flop (much like Rising will). Bayonetta 2 wouldn't have even been made if Nintendo didn't step in (although I'm not sure why they'd want this garbage IP).

Wonderful 101 made me think of Viewtiful Joe immediately.

Ah platinum games, such a quality developer. Hopefully they never fall down the path of greed like so many other excellent developers have.

Looks great and best of all I know their games will be good. I really hope Platinum Games does well on the WiiU so they can have enough cash to safely develop for the PS4/720.

The guys behind Platinum are like the artists of the gaming industry, because they create precious gems that are usualy ignored by the general public ( Okami is a great game but didn´t sell all that much, the same goes to Godhand). They have also shaped this industry with some of the best games ( solidifying the survivor horror genre with the Resident evil franchise ), created a new genre ( with the OG Devil May Cry), and always give us the best gameplay ( look at Viewtful Joe, Bayonetta or Vanquish). They look like they make games for fun, to be fun. They make games for those gamers who love games, diferent games, challenging games. They don´t hold our hands in their games, and more devs should be like them in this aspect ( Uncharted is good, but gamewise doesn´t challenge us ). Current gen games are far too easy compared to the previous gen, so thank God for Platinum for not only keeping it challenging, but also for not taking the easy way out and going the COD route ( i´m looking at you Squeenix ). I must admit, they suck at storytelling, that´s why i believe MGRR will be a unique game ( storytelling king + gameplay king = new level of awesome game ).
Hopefully, MGRR will be their stepping stone to gain the recognition they deserve, and they start pumping out all those crazy and inovative ideas they usualy have. They are veterans in the gaming industry, but their company is still a baby and needs to grow. Is good to see that some devs really care about making games for gamers and not just for money ( there are others besides platinum ), and these companys can count with my support.
