High Hopes for New Mass Effect 3 DLC

Gi - Mass Effect 3 recently received new downloadable content (DLC) with Mass Effect 3: Omega, but the big story is that another DLC is in the works. From what tidbits of information are available, the upcoming content might be the best yet. In fact, it could be the closure that Mass Effect fans have been seeking since the third game’s release.

Well, Sam Hulick has done a great job so far, so my only concern is the DLC itself. I'm skeptical about the rest.

Que all the comments about this being content cut from the game, and how this is a travesty to have to buy dlc, etc. Meanwhile, can't wait to buy that new Borderlands 2 dlc (you know the new character that isn't included with the Season Pass).

Well, can't speak for anyone else, but I skipped Borderlands 2, because I didn't like the whole Season's Pass nonsense, and I skipped Assassins Creed 3 for that same reason.

I have a problem with any game that releases and 'feels' like it is missing something, only to have that something show up later in DLC. I say release a full product first and then think of ways to add to it with good, lengthy DLC.

As for ME3 DLC, well, what we have seen so far has not been very impressive. It has been both too short and too overpriced, and I suspect this will be more of the same. I bought Leviathan for 50% off when Live was having a sale, and I still think I paid too much for what was included in the DLC. I actually don't really think Leviathan was cut from the game, but it simply was not good enough for what they were charging. I would be surprised if this upcoming DLC will be any better.

Omaga, well I have not played it, and don't plan too, so I won't comment on that.

I don't have any issue with someone who is consistent in their views. I think you are very honorable for staying true to your opinion. I don't have a problem with dlc myself, but I just hate when people get all self righteous about one game or company and then proceed to give another game/company a pass for doing the exact same thing.

I own Me3 and I love the mp. I own Borderlands 2 and I love that game, and I played as much of Ac3 as I wanted too. Ac3 was a good rent and maybe worth buying later for cheap.
