New Bioshock: Infinite Details – Disc Size, Length, Audio Logs

If you ever have seen some of Bioshock's old trailers, the gameplay does look like a wacky shooter in a scifi world. But when you played the game, it was dark, it was full of wonder, it was scary and something original and amazing. I think Bioshock just doesn't do trailers that reflect the story the way the game really is. But that is awesome because I want to go in Infinite, as I did the first 2, without any clue what I am about to experience.
Also, I hope it lets us keep all our stats and powerups for the second playthrough. I always wanted to play the original Bioshocks with all my tonics and upgrades in place. Was so sad when I couldn't.
1 disc on console (of course it's 1 disc on PS3) and 3 discs on PC? I wonder why it's 3 discs on PC. Sure it'll have higher resolution textures but does it make that much of a difference?
So far its confirmed that there are higher res textures, dx11 and some extra effects that aren't on consoles. If I had to go further I am hoping for uncompressed video and sound.
Finally, something we can all agree on. And not in the over-used slutty way, which is a credit to Ken Levine and Irrational.
Day 1 buy for me. I, like many others, don't buy too many games day 1. But ask yourself this; Can you afford for the ending to be spoiled?? THAT is why I am getting it day 1. Looks absolutely amazing so far. Irrational is one of the few elite developers I respect and support.
Seems not worth it. No matter how good it may be. $60 for 8 hrs worth of content is just lacking compared to games that pack longer campaigns, not to mention the multiplayer some contain.
And the length of the average story oriented shooter is! 6-8 hours. The length of the game is fine, and if the price is an issue for you than just wait until the game goes on sale or hits a price drop.
And for the love of Jebus, multiplayer isn't really value added. I bought Spec Ops The Line and never touched the multiplayer, what's the point of wasting my time on half baked MP?

The first was amazing. The second was pretty darn good. Can't wait for another Irrational one though.
I hope the amazing ending to Bioshock Infinite Ken was talking about somehow ties the Infinite Universe into the Original rapture one, despite saying that they aren't supposed to be in the same universe when the game was first announced.
I think both are amazing.... some people didn't like number two... I cant really see why... I may like part 1 more though... I cant really see the reason for that either...
lol, Bioshock:Infinite is a reimagination of Bioshock. When Ken Wrote the Story for Bioshock, there was no direct sequel, it was a spiritual successor to System Shock. And the same is true for Bioshock:Infinite,
this is why people came away with Bioshock 2 as little more of an unnecessary sequel to a story that was already closed.
I can't wait for Bioshock:Infinite it really looks amazing, the color pallete and graphics are definately amongst the best, hard to believe the UE3 is still able to keep with console exclusive like Halo 4 and The Last of Us.

Audio and video are always better on ps3 since the disc size allows uncompressed files

I think I spent a good 15+ on that game.
As much as this game will be worth a second playthrough, I've got too many games to be replaying every one of them for trophies.
I'm sure this will work just like that game where my time played is greatly inflated because I spent a bunch of time just farting around.
*edit*Regarding the game’s length, Levine said that the game is on par with first Bioshock game. Or for him at least.
