Next ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Should Head To Asia

After some fan art on Deviantart popped up last, we discuss the possibilties of a future 'Assassin's Creed' installment heading to China, Japan, or any other part of Asia. (Assassin's Creed IV, Culture, Dev)

Stupid idea not to to be honest. I don't care what Ubisoft thinks. It would make BANK.

Ninjas, assassins, who wouldn't love that?

I like ninja's and samurai as much as the next guy, but it's just been done already. I've really come to appreciate the fact that Assassin's Creed is always set in periods and places that are not common in the gaming industry.

who doesnt like ninja Samurais

Now is the time they could do it (having an Asian ancestor for Desmond would be hard to believe unless it was in more modern times).

Like it says in the article I can bet it will not go down well and be a very stereotypical Asian setting. Not everything is about Ninja's over there.

I hope so. It would be a really nice change of scenery.

I think the next Assassin's Creed should head to a holiday resort & take a nice long vacation.

I get ya and feel the same.

Also I dont blame the game industry for making sequels.

Its the gamers who keep asking about the next the next the next etc

Ubisoft has repeatedly said AC goes to places that people don't expect. Everyone ALWAYS says samurai, and Ubisoft say it won't happen.

They need to reboot this series, very stale and gameplay is boring. Same game different location, AC3 was a disappointment.

make it more hard and the story more interesting, 1 guys shouldn't be able to beat 20 people. that's just silly.

i have been saying this since assassin creed 2 , but nothing changed , i got many disagrees at that time ...

it's useless asking for that because most of the people who buy it are sucks at gaming , that's why the gameplay is always easy ..

No way all 3 games are very different from each other. What do you guys want a fps. This series ranks right at the top for me so i could argue this all night but i'm not going too because i'm not convinced you guys played all there games. Besides that..... if you guys feel so strongly about this, stop buying them. I love the games to much to stop buying them. Ubisoft does a wonderful job at keeping it fresh ever time. On a side note to all, AC4 won't show in 2013 but we will see another AC game. I'd bet it has both connor and adeline in it but thats just a guess.

I played all AC games , im gonna buy any game they create because i like to support them , but all of them have the same gameplay with different ways of killing and little different in movement , that's it , the games are easy as hell , i play them for the story ...

@ sriki007

I don't get into games that don't have a great story so i'm confused on your idea of it not having a good story. The story spans comics and games. If your not into the story after all that i'd stop playing it. Games could be a little harder tho.

Don't hate me for saying this; I think they should end the franchise instead of "milking" it or at least improve up something.
Josephp617  +   139d ago
Maybe I should try Assassins Creed. I never played it before.
phantomexe  +   139d ago
I'm sure it be ok but really i'd rather them go some place else.

I'd be happy with that. I think they should stop gong forward in time because they'll eventually end up in obvious old World War 2 which 1. Just isn't Assassin's Creed (Guns are too advanced, no swords, not really rich history that isn't very well known to people) 2. Is a monotonous period of history 3. Will turn into a game like COD which no one wants and 4. Where the free roam won't make a lot of sense and the architecture is blown up. It's getting too recent in my opinion. I like Assassin's Creed for the mysterious history I learn from it. I think medieval London or the Romans and disputes between the pale, fleshy Celts of Ireland and Scotland and between the Germanic tribes would be cool. Everyone likes bad-asses so why not play as some wild tribesman jumping around a Roman town? People say the downfall with the Romans would be we've seen the architecture in Assassins's Creed Brotherhood but I would love to see it again at its peek!
