"Ascension looks as if it's the most brutal game in the series to date" yeah playing the SP demo i thought the gameplay would be the same but man ...the gameplay got more brutal and fast and they add alot of moves and magic and i'm loving the MP god of war ascension is on my day 1 list
And to think we've seen next to NOTHING on the game yet. Todd Papy is so impressed with the SP he doesn't even want to show another walkthrough before release. Loving the vibrant environments this time around, and like you said, the speed. It feels much tighter and faster. Really can't wait for this.

I've never missed a GOD OF WAR game since the 1st one on PS2. I can't wait, March can't come any soon.
The God of War games have always been AAA games.
Even if Ascension might have a shorter single player campaign and an unnecessary multiplayer it will still be a top tier game.
The PS3 has The Last of Us and God of War Ascencion plus Tomb Raider and many more for 2013. It will be a solid year for the PS3.
