Gareth at Skewed and Reviewed has posted an audio file on his thoughts on the anti used game software issue. He points out that the same battle happened in the 90s over the sale of used music cds and how the pending legal battles could tarnish the launch of new systems using this tech.
Right now we can only assume that it wont be or will implemented onto next gen consoles.
Not to be rude but this was 2nd on the list when I searched. Of course, the opposite is true as well: Can you provide an official MS or SONY statement confirming that they WILL block used games. SONY and MS both have patents that they never intend to bring to fruition. Owning a patent doesn't precipitate its implementation.
