Top 5 Xbox 360 Games of 2012 [Xbox Live Gamer Hub]

Xbox Live Gamer Hub staff member Sean writes:

''These are my personal choices of games I have played this year on the 360. Mass Effect 3, Halo 4 and Black Op's 2 did not make my list. I did not miss them or forget them, I just didn’t pick them. Feel free to post your own choices below.'' (Dragon's Dogma, Far Cry 3, Sleeping Dogs, The Walking Dead: Episode 1 "A New Day", The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, Xbox 360)

The witcher 2 was awesome. Great story, great graphics, great characters. Just a really really good game.

I whole heartily agree. Though it seems to have slipped from peoples minds given it's early year release :(

Well to be fair, The Witcher 2 released in 2011, the port for 360 and the bonus content was 2012 so for a lot of people it may not 'count'.

Fantastic game (both 1 and 2) though, if I hadn't already played it in 2011, I'd probably be debating whether I liked Persona 4 Golden or The Witcher 2 better this year.

The Witcher 2 doesn't get enough praise from gaming sites

good list, i'll add Halo 4, Forza Horizon, ME3, ZOTE HD collection, RE6, FFXIII-2 and Borderlands 2

Hang on a moment. Didn't you say recently that you don't understand what the fuss is surrounding Borderlands 2. So have you finally played it?

And RE6?? pahahahahahhaha!

No Resident Evil 6 purely because after playing the two demos i decided not to purchase the game. Halo 4 was good, just not great, for me anyway. Me3 was again good but the game failed to register with me in the same way the last two did, plus it felt like a chore at times. ZOTE HD collection...was a pretty odd port given its frame rate issues. FF13-2...nah didn't really enjoy FF13 so ff13-2 did not appeal to me.

Borderlands 2...while it does get a lot of love, for me i didn't have as much enjoyment with it compared to the games mentioned in the list.

Each to their own though!

Hi Link,
Your response to DigitalRaptor seems to be a consolidated answer, as though a response by j-blaze..

Interesting.
