Nintendo: There are lots of fantastic Wii U games to come in 2013
Nintendo has promised that there will be lots of fantastic Wii U games to play in 2013 as the company look to follow up a "strong Q1" with another great show at E3.

I hope Retro will be releasing something this year. I don't want to wait for an amazing AAA Nintendo game. I also am wondering what Miyamoto is working on. He has done some different stuff, Mario, Starfox, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Pikmin. I really hope its a new platform franchise and not something like Pikmin. I like Pikmin, but we get part 3 soon, so I am hoping for a new Platform with new characters.
A new Star Fox would be brilliant as long as they don't drag it down the RPG route. A new 3D Mario would be great as well but I'm getting a bit tired of him to be honest! F-Zero would be very welcome as well! Think the new Zelda game isn't gonna be around until 2014, loved the realistic look shown on the Wii U tech demo a few months back but heard they're sticking to the cartoon graphics :( Not sure about Pikimin, never played it before but the videos I've seen for part 3 are a small bit underwhelming, are you just a guy with a glass bowl on his head who fires little colourful men at garden stuff?
Dude really Pikmin 1 and 2 were triple A games in my opinion. The controls are so fun just to use nevermind the actual games which were are top shelf stuff, brilliant stuff from the master. I'm looking very, very forward to Pikmin 3 and GTA U.

No doubt, there is going to be a 3D mario in the future, but I don't think it will be a galaxy title. IDK, the seem to do something new with the 3D mario franchise every console cycle.
there alot of good games coming out for wiiu, wonderful 101, bayonetta, rayman, smash bros, ghost sniper, aliens colonial...pikmin, im sure there are alot more games that nintendo is not announcing yet and there should be so they stay ahead of the competition...
I don't know why, but I have high hopes for Lego City Undercover. It just looks fun to me and I can't wait to try it out. Hopefully the game turns out well.
looks great. And while I love the earlier Lego games like Star Wars, the fact that this is completely unique and original makes it even more exciting. And the graphics look very sharp for a Lego game.
I think Nintendo needs at least one of the big three to release this year if they want any hope of staying alive. With Zelda almost certainly being targeted for a 2014 release, that leaves a Galaxy style Mario or a Metroid game. Here's hoping they can pull off a miracle and release both this year.
They need to have that game defining 1st party game to get people on board.
My guess is they will announce something big at E3 and release it on or after the holidays this year. Of course I said the same thing about E3 last year and I was pretty mistaken (unless you count Bayonetta 2 for Wii U as a big announcement).
For me Bayo 2 is one of the best announcements ever, I actually was sad when there werent any announcements about it from sega, so Bayo2 for me is a must..

rayman legends, wonderful 101and lego city are exlusives aswell as bayonetta 2. obviously pikmin 3 (but im not a fan of pikmin). quite a few coming out this year and probably more to be announced. im only really waiting on rayman legends and maybe bayonetta 2 if it looks any good (thats been announced) but i have a massive backlog of games to keep me interested and just brought far cry 3 new for 25 quid, i shouldn't have really as im halfway through assassins creed 3 but i cant resist a bargain.
I'm really anxious for Monoliths next title. They gave me Baten Kaitos and Xenoblade, as an rpg developer they have proven themselves to be as good as either square soft or enix in the 16-32 bit era or at least on the road to that level of epicness.

As much as I like Nintendo, they are very secretive of what games are coming out for their consoles, so it seems like nothing for ages, and then they announce a bunch of games all at once. Then you don't hear anything about them, until a week before they are released.
A none gimmick Zelda HD would make me look closely at Wii U or maybe even thoughts of Majora's Mask HD remake!
To Nintendo fans who think the Wii U will get an exclusive GTA... you guys are the most deluded gamers ever! No major GTA has ever been fully exclusive to any platform (not even PlayStation which features them all) and Rockstar has never released a *real* GTA on Nintendo ever because it's completely the wrong platform to release that type of game on period. Not happening, it's never happened for a reason!
It might be coming but if it doesn't ok its definitely not going to be the end of nintendo etc etc so keep crying yo tears are delicious and nintendos 1st party titles will more then make up for it and the exclusive 3rd party games and the new ips and the ports of games it will be getting
I am pretty sure that they will show off Zelda and Retro's new project next.
Zelda will be the one of the only games that will be able to steal or compete with the spotlight of the new Hardware reveals Nintendo will be up against.
Also, a glimpse at a HD Zelda will be enough to make the hesitant jump-on the WiiU. How many times have you seen people write, "I am waiting for Zelda."
Imagine Super Mario Galaxy: Trilogy, with SMG 1, 2, and a new one, all in 1080p, or a new Metroid, maybe even a new DK or Kirby(Air Ride 2? Please!). It'd be awesome!
