ZombiU Review | Casually Addicted

Casually Addicted: "ZombiU is a great way to get the blood pumping; it's a thrilling ride and a great reason to own a Wii U." (Wii U, ZombiU) 8.75/10

Your absolutely right! ZombiU is not perfect but does do a perfect job in doing what it's supposed to, provide a survival horror experience like no other. I struggle to pick up this game and play it because I fear for my characters life which has been alive for 9hrs or so. I have many memories with him and am hoping that he pulls through till the end...

Thanks YoungPlex, I remember those exact feelings! When I lost my first character I couldn't believe it. It will be interesting to see what they do if they make a second installment. What would you want to see changed?

The main thing that I would like to see improved is the combat mechanics, which are cool but need more verity... What I mean is that the character should be able to use different melee weapons such as pipes, bottles, golf clubs, etc., and that weight and range of those weapons should also be implemented in the physics engine. For example, busting Zombie heads all day would definitely destroy the bat, naturally it would be time to get a different weapon of choice, and using a bottle would break after 1 or 2 swings. Different animations as to how your able to finish a Zombie would be nice too.

I don't think that much needs to be changed just some minor tweaks could improve this new IP so much, that it could become the next big Zombie hit for this generation. I have a special kind of love for this game because it's not like anything I've ever played before! Ubisoft has managed to create something special that can be the next major IP for the Wii U. Here's hoping that the next ZombiU has a bigger budget and team next time around...
