Corsair one my better brands however this xmas i needed a new liquid all in one cooler and i opted for a Antec 920 switch the front stock fan with a ernimax red led fan much faster but quieter with sensor. I curruntly power my PC with corsair HX series 1000watt also xmas my gf bought me corsair sp2500 speakers yet to get round setting up. On topic i agree on this article to a point for budget builds and video cards AMD defo but then again its down to prefrence. I never had issues with Far cry 3 like they described with my 7970 other than frame rate with i find sorted out with catalyst 12.10 . Sure nvidia does have physix thats plus but some games (engines) have there own software based physix. As for drivers ive never had a amd issue i use ATI MAN uninstall my old drivers download latest install. Ive yet to swap my segate xt part SSD for a full proper SSD still waiting for better prices to drop.
I just put one on order today a corsair gt 120gb ssd looking forward to almost completing my rig, nice mouse and mechanical keyboard all i will need is another sapphire 7850 2gb oc.
Be sure overclock that 7850 very simple plus sapphire is good brand there AMD only like EVEGA is nvidia only why i bought sapphire.
The best sale had to be a seasonic x750 for $105 and also had a $15 mir to make it $90
