After GoW III, I thought I wouldn't get excited for another Kratos game again (because 3 was so freaking brilliant) but Ascension has piqued my interest and I just can't wait.
It's a great year to be a gamer. Yes?

For some reason I am not excited as I should be.

Played the hell out of 3 and loved it to death but I really wish this was on the PS4.

Dont get me wrong the game looks amazing but I really wanted to see what this game would be like with an open world map and 100 enemies coming at you at once.

They (the developers) took a long time building an incredibly robust and impressive engine for GOW3 dude. They are clearly pushing the bounds of said engine and we will probably really see it shine in Ascension. For them to release just one game after building an engine from scratch would be ridiculous from a money standpoint, but more importantly for gamers, it would be a serious waste. From the videos i've seen for Ascension, it's looking like it will really push the bar.

Besides, you'll get your GOW4 on PS4 anyway, that's a certainty. And the next gen consoles haven't even been announced yet. So why you'd want to wait a pretty indeterminate amount of time for the next iteration of GOW is beyond me.

I played the demo and already see graphical improvements over God of War 3! That's hard to belive because God of War 3 still looks oustounding!

I love God of War so much! I can't wait for God of War: Ascension, the wait for God of War IV on PS4 is going to kill me and I can't wait to see what Sony Santa Monica's new IP for the PS4 directed by Stig Asmussen is going to be like, it's going to be awesome for sure but I wonder what genre it'll be in? E3 this year should have answers.
