Is there any reason to get excited about any sports games in 2013?

Sure, a few games stepped it up last year, but you can't help but think sports games have hit their peak already.

Yes most sports games if not all have reached their peak,Gameplay wise... but they are still going to sell by the numbers and we still going to buy the same shi*! every year.

The problem is there's very little competition in sports games. There only 1 nfl game, 1 nba game now, 2 MLB games but the show is ps only. So there's no one taking any chances or trying to do anything revolutionary. There is room for sports games to grow, but it won't happen in its current state.

In my Opinion, sports games are just not worth it man. It's something that is possible to perform in real life. I would rather play something like Need For Speed or Vanquish since I can't drive a car and out-run the cops or go shoot people in slow mo with futuristic weapons.
