To help you plan for the year ahead, we’ve compiled a list of all the 2013 games with confirmed release dates. By confirmed, we mean something that either has a specific date or month narrowed down. Basically, if a game has a ’2013′ or ‘Spring 2013′ release window like Grand Theft Auto V, Beyond: Two Souls, and Killzone Mercenary, they won’t be listed.

Although the games you mentioned look great, I doubt they will take advantage of Vita's tech like Tearaway.

The Phantasy Star and Killzone franchises can be found on other platforms whereas Tearaway was created with Vita in mind.

Tearaway will without question get plenty of awards in 2013.

Cool concept, but I and a few others have been fiddling with the Vita for a while now. We do not like the back touch screen at all. Watching that video, the game looks great and very creative, but many features will get annoying to do after a while. Blowing wind? Yelling into the mic?

Nintendo and Apple already taught me how well touch screens work in casual gaming.
Not saying Tearaway won't be amazing, but it's all still pretty gimmicky.
Not, "I'll climb a vine once with the rear touch, for the trophy, and never again" - type gimmicky, though...

Checked this video out. I'm a hardcore gamer and can confirm this looks like a child's game with back touch screen gimmicky controls. Why on earth would any gamer over the age of 10 years old want to play this?

I'm sure they said the same thing for LBP and look how that turn out. You have grown folk playing that game. Teraway looks amazing and the fact that it's coming from Media Molecule, I sure it will attract gamers of all ages and do wonders for the Vita.

LBP started the Play, Create, Share and I hope Teraway starts something unique like that for the Vita.

when i saw Tearaway for the first time at gamescom, i was smiling the whole way through the video. I don't know if it will be a system seller(i sure hope so)i know i will buy a vita just for that one game

also Killzone mercenaries looked killer too.

i am a huge Killzone series fan so i get 2 reason to buy a Vita. along with some very awesome games that came out in 2012 for it. For all the haters/critics Vita actually launched with more than 25 games so this talk about Vita has no games has to stop and nothing but nonsense

sony allows a lot of these developers so much freedom to create whatever and that's why we have so many great exclusives for PS brand

I haven't bought borderlands 2, far cry 3 or dishonored etc. yet. WTH! Can't keep up anymore or to be pricise haven't been able to do it for quite some time. Yay for working long hours to provide food and shelter for my family....

I just finished GTA 4 and I'm working on Doom BFG edition atm. I still have crysis 2 and pretty much every other PS+ game unfinished. I also have retail copys of Dark souls, Resistance 3, Dragon age, just cause 2, modnation racers, RUSE, ghostbusters, FEAR 3, lost planet 2, Uncharted 3 and mafia 2 still wrapped in plastic. Bought a Vita a month or so back too so I have U:GA and gravity rush unfinished along with retail copy of everybody's golf.

How about someone giving me a month or two off for this huh? LOL!

edit: OH and I just got Diablo 3 for my PC.... sigh...

There are a lot of upcoming promising titles for the Vita, in Japan at least, hopefully SCEA shifts their focus on bringing those games here as opposed to making half-assed titles geared towards the western audience.(Black ops declassified)

I think the fact that so many games are coming out in the first half of the year, and nothing has been announced for the rest is a clear indicator at next gen Christmas 2013.

I agree but It brings up the question. What Is nintendo going to do? Most of the games on that list aren't coming to the WiiU. With Sony/MS announcing their new consoles at CES/GDC or E3.Nintendo is going to be in a tough spot.

The good/bad thing about Nintendo is that they don't really need much help from third parties, so if they can come out with a coupla big Mario and Zelda games they should be ok

I couldn't agree more. I'm only buying the wiiu for Zelda. I will continue to play wiiu if a game peaks my interest. Zelda is it for me and 5 of my family members. We grew up on it.

Not really. Nintendo already proven that they don't need much 3rd-party help. And since a good portion of their userbase do own a Sony/Microsoft console, this whole "most of the games on that list aren't coming to the Wii U" talk is nothing. Besides most of the games on that list are games even die-hard Sony fanboys don't care about anyway let alone Nintendo gamers. I own a PS3 and I only see 3 games worth caring about on that list. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Anarchy Reigns and Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time.

That picture just makes me think of Lee and Clementine lol. Then I consider their situations with those two, and they do seem very similar. I just hope The Last of Us is on par with the Walking Dead's story. I'm not worried about gameplay, I know it'll be amazing.

I think the Walking Dead will slightly nag at the Last of Us.

I have complete faith in Naughty Dog, but I find it hard for them to completely outdo everything the Walking Dead did, while taking it to the next level. But if any studio can do it they can.

The content, the context, the gameplay thus far, the graphics, the acting, and everything else about the Last of Us just screams Best game ever for the zombie genre.

Wow 4 disagrees. Let me clarify.

I wholeheartedly think The Last of Us will be the superior game in pretty much every way.

The only thing I was talking about was story. From everything we've seen of The Last of Us, story-wise, looks a lot like what Lee and Clementine went through, which may cause some journalist to unfairly judge the STORY as if they've already been through this before.

As far as both games go, The Last of Us is hands down the winner when it comes to graphics, mature content (which is where the story should go vs. TWD), gameplay, infected encounters, bandits, and more and all that's just from seeing trailers, and a 5 - 7 minute gameplay section.

I was only commenting on how the story might compare to the Walking Dead, and how similar the setup is.

Tearaway, Killzone: Mercenary, Soul Sacrifice, The Last of Us, GTAV, Remember Me, God of War: Ascension, and Bioshock: Infinite are all for sure buys for me. That's already $420 if I buy them on day one.

Do like I do, rent first and buy later.

There are only a few games I'm willing to go out and get Day 1, everything else, can be played through, and bought at a later date to add to my collection.

If it's a long game Gamefly it, if you can beat it over the weekend redbox it ($4).

Then buy it when you have the money.

I have a PS3, 360, PSV, as my main gaming devices, and between the 3 it's hard trying to buy all the latest games. So if I'm even remotely iffy about I game I gamefly it. God of War will be a Day 1 buy, The Last of Us will probably be a Day 1 buy thanks to Naughty Dogs record with Uncharted's, Everything else will be a rent and buy later.

Don't buy games day 1. The only reason you ever have to buy a game early is if you are interested in the online community. Sp games will always be there, you can get them at much lower prices if you wait, plus they will be better since they will have been patched.

Trust me , they're coming soon along with support from all the 3rd party developers. All these game companies are realizing how stupid they were for not having games for the Vita's launch and are practically tripping over each other to support it now. If you have a Vita in 2013 , your wallet is going to be hurting big time lol. I might even recommend getting a second job so you can buy all the must have titles. I'm so excited right now.

Monster Hunter hasn't really been announce by Capcom and FF X is in Limbo by SE.

They announce X far to early and since they are working on both versions, I expect to hear something in 2013 with a late 2013/early 2014 release date.

To tell the truth, I think FFX is in the same position FFV13 is in. And it sucks to say and worst to hear it.

Sony is just going to keep on dominating the industry. The Last of Us is the best game ever made and I'm sure The Last Guardian will be released before the end of the year giving the PS3 two of the best games ever created. What's Xbox have coming down the pipe? Nothing at all.

It's about how you play , you see how fast mirror edge gameplay is ? . i play like that in most of the games , i get excited and focus , that's why i complete everything in them and sell them fast without feeling bad , play mirror edge , you may learn to like to play like that too ^^ ..
