With the 2012 over with, as well as the apocalypse, we are finally back to finish things off with our end of the year picks for best console games of the year. There have been so many games that have touched our hearts, threw us into the American Revolution, or even take us on another space trip to fend off an impending threat. And yes, there were some disheartening titles this year as well, but we will save that for another date. Now, which of these great titles of 2012 will make it in our list, you shall see.
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.

If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
