Sleeping Dogs Review | Weeaboos With Controllers

WWC: "Sleeping Dogs is one of the few titles that bridges the gap between an open world game and an RPG. It offers exciting high speed chases, plenty of opportunities to abuse your police authority, and characters that are memorable and relatable. Also, preying on weak enemies scattered throughout the city is fun and can end up consuming much of your time. While I wasn't fond of how quickly the puzzles became repetitive and the bugs, the RPG components and open world more than made up for it." (PC, PS3, Sleeping Dogs, Xbox 360) 4/5

Just played through this last week, really enjoyed it. Hope they make another one, but I suspect they'll need a new main character based on how the story wraps. That or a new location, which isn't something I'd want. Really liked the Hong Kong flavor.

I'd quite like to see Beijing or Shanghai.

It's a shame Sleeping Dogs dlc left a lot to be desired.

Haven't tried the DLC. I guess one is supposed to be Halloween themed and the other is supposed to be a goof on Enter the Dragon?

Some people ACTUALLY ENJOY spoiling things for others!!

If you're referring to my post, I didn't spoil anything. Merely implied that the story ends in a way that makes a sequel difficult without changing a lot of things.

Why even hint at anything plot wise at all? Ignored by 23 yet has 10 bubbles! Mmmmm

This game was a lot more fun than I expected. I'd definitely be interested in a sequel.

One of the best games of the year.I'm glad this wasn't cancelled because of Activision's foolishness.

This game is overlooked by lots of people even tho its a very good Open World game.

The story is great and the fighting mechanics are brilliant.
Highly recommend this game since its cheap to get nowadays.
