It's a new IP in what is possibly the last year of this gen. I'm actually surprised and would love to see 200k+ pre orders for the game by the time it releases.

I'm amazed it has so many. Don't get me wrong, the game looks phenomenal, but personally I rarely preorder unless there's a decent bonus for doing so, and when I do preorder it's usually not more than a week or two in advance.

Also, it's looking like gta 5 on PS3 will sell better then the 360 version.

Could you enlighten me as to how you came to that conclusion. The 360 version not only has more pre-orders overall, but also more pre orders for the week. Also the last grand theft auto sold more on the 360.
Don't be fooled by early pre-orders, as time goes on, the gap will grow by hundreds of thousands

Not to mention, he's flat out wrong about the # of PS3 games in the top 10 to begin with ; it's 2, not 4. But he's just a PS3 fantroll, so ignoring him altogether is best.

Well, that answers why PlayStation 3 games doesn't sell that well, people buy PlayStation 3 to not play exclusive games on them.

The same can be said for every other console Sony made. 3rd-party games, exclusive or otherwise, were their main draws. And the PS3 is no exception.

I'm pretty sure it'll sell about 300-400 copies though. Since some people are so keen to not look like a "hater". So they'd just get it anyway.
