Bad Publicity is Good Publicity (Seduce Me)

New indie title Seduce Me is using it’s negative reaction from Steam to drive their sales. It’s not the first time a video game company has taken the Bad Publicity is Good Publicity approach, but does it work for video games? (PC, Seduce Me, Steam)

If they have to use bad publicity to sell the game, it obviously sucks.

They were taken off of Steam because of the content, not because it's a bad game. I don't see how that's bad publicity.
