GamesFIX writes: It’s taken long enough to be made, but patience is a virtue: Aliens: Colonial Marines is not only one of the most anticipated games of 2013, but it looks set to be the best licensed game ever made. This is the true sequel fans of the iconic 80s action flick have been waiting for. What happened to Hicks? Is LV-426 still housing the Xenomorph? Is Ellen Ripley safe? These are the questions we can expect to have answered in the game, but what else makes Aliens: Colonial Marines so special?
Also, let's be honest, can any movie-game ever trump Goldeneye?
That was supposed to be one of the reasons the game has been delayed...
Oh, I agree that Spiderman 2 game movie release was pretty damn hot.
I'm worried this will be yet another dumb corridor game where things just mindlessly run at you to die for 4-6 hours with some scripted events interspersed amid the action so that players can feel accomplished and be blinded by what really is bad/ generic gameplay.
Not because GearBox developed it, but because 3D realm spent almost 10 years working on it only to dump the crap it was to Gearbox. Why Gearbox and Take-Two released it (probably for the fans) is beyond me.
This, Bioshock and GTA are enough to hold me out till the Xbox 720
