Top Ten Game of the Year 2012 Snubs

Cheat Code Central's Jake Valentine writes: "Picking the best of the best seems to be near impossible, I know, and the VGAs did a fairly good job covering most of them. Still, I can't help but feel that these ten games deserved more end-of-the-year recognition than they've gotten."

The story is too old to be commented.

I don't care if Persona 4: The Golden was originally released on the PS2, the PS Vita version is infinitely better, portable, and ultimately one of the best games released this year, hands down.

Definitely, it's hard to get much better than P4G. I still remember my first playthrough on the PS2. I stayed up every night until morning playing through. I just could not stop playing it, it's so engrossing and gives you that feeling that you don't want it to end.

As an RPG fan, this is the first game that has made me wish I didn't have to worry about battles and leveling characters up. I would be just as happy to build my social links and watch the story unfold.

I know what you mean, I always hated having to choose between building social links or going to grind battles for levels... Though it's great once you finally save someone and have the rest of the time off until the next one.

I agree with the persona 4 golden comments above me 100%! That game is truly something its the epitomy of gaming! Its a reason why I love this hobby for experiences like persona 3 and 4 I dont care how old I get or lack the time I will always find a way to find to play these types of gaming experiences!

What a great year for JRPG's.

To think that no less than THREE JRPG's would even be considered for GOTY this year. What is this, the 90's!?
