The Games We Stopped Playing in 2012

IGN: "We see a game's logo revealed. We watch a trailer. Read a preview. Download the desktop wallpaper. Change our ringtones. Hang the posters. Circle the release dates on our calendars. Scrounge the cash for a pre-order. The day arrives. The package comes. We tear it open. Anticipation boils to unfathomable heights." (PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Kingdoms of amalur was the only game i havnt beaten. But i do trophies and i have tons of those. I usually dont. ME3, the witcher 2, dishonored, borderlands, black ops 2, etc. I am an addict and just gog so far behind with skyrim, kingdoms, me3, the witcher 2 and dragons dogma. I am playing AC3 and i can understand why ppl grow tired but its no worse than any of the others. The combat has always been really easy. But, i love the setting so much that it really works for me. The story is great so far. But with far cry 3, and ni no kuni coming i may continue to fall further behind

It took some effort and dedication, but I did finish AC3. I really didn't care for it like I did through the Ezio series.

I didn't mind that it was less free-running friendly this time around, because I always felt it was quicker to run through the streets most of the time, even in the older ones. I was turned off my by how much more action oriented it was. I always enjoyed the stealth and stealth kills from before. But this time, even when I'd do a stealth kill, Everyone knew. I would then be attacked by Endless waves of solders, completely punishing you for doing any sort of killing.

One I'm glad I never started and never bought was RE6. I was leaning against getting this game ever since I first saw trailers for it, but because I was a fan, I had thought I'd wait for a price drop and get it. But then the demo came out and I gave it a go, and Boy, am I glad I passed it up.

Sadly I will admit I put the Last Story on hold for now but plan to pick it back up and hopefully stream some of it later. RE6 and AC3 I played and finished those the others I just didn't have the time for and probably won't until later next year.

Darkness II, Darksiders II and XCom are on my list, too. I just couldn't get into any of them. Assassin's Creed III could have been for every reason mentioned, but I forced myself to grind it out.

I have a big list, but sometimes some games i just can seem to get into them i am currently playing Far cry 3 then i have on hold.. AC3, ME1,2,3, Dishonered,NMH, RE6, Darksiders and more....

Not enough time for me sadly...

One game I lost interest in is Darksider 2 they try to fix a lot of problems from the original Darksider, the boss battle was okay but I just felt like the game didnt do enough for me to finish it.

Stopped playing UC3 multiplayer. What a joke. The single player was OK, but not was good as UC2. The multiplayer is just terrible.

My vote goes to AC 3; if I didn't get motion sickness from Dishonored I'd actually have played it through. I spent a lot of time on Mass Effect 3, KoA, Borderlands 2, and Dragons Dogma.
