Jay Wilson: We've been working really hard on the features, content, and systems for PvP in Diablo III and I wanted to take some time to provide an update on where we're at.
(Diablo III, PC)
Um, yes I do know the "old Blizz". I bought Warcraft II the day it came out, and I still have my Blackthorne SNES cartridge.
Want a history lesson? You seem to need one: In 1994, Blizzard launched Warcraft 1, Blackthorne, and Return of Superman. In '95, it was Warcraft II. In '96, it was WII: Dart Portal and Diablo. '97 was Lost Vikings II. '98 was Starcraft AND Brood War. 2000 was Diablo II. 2001 was DII:LoD. '02-'03 was Warcraft III and the expansion. From 2004 to 2009 it was nothing but WoW. 2010 was Starcraft II (still waiting on the expansion) and another WoW expansion. Nothing until 2012, which was Diablo III. Oh, and another WoW expansion.
So...tell me again how Blizzard used to "take their time". It seems to me like they've been slowing waaaaay down over the years.
PVP Deathmatch = "in the not too distant future".
