The Experience I Had With Journey Is One I’ll Never Forget

Leviathyn | After playing through Journey for the first time, Cassidee considers the game’s amazing ability to transport you on your own emotional journey throughout the experience, and how it’s one she won’t soon forget. (Journey, PS3)

Completely agree.

Although I didn't pick Journey as my no.1 game for 2012, it's undoubtedly one of the best experiences I've ever had with gaming full stop.

I went through the game twice, the first experience I went alone and learnt the world and how it was. The 2nd time through, I found someone to go along with and it was absolutely phenomenal. I helped them, they helped me and I made sure to keep them in my vision at all times. Then right at the very end I thought I had lost them, only to find them waiting for me at the top of the mountain.

It was incredible, unbelievable and absolutely unforgettable.

This game undoubtedly is example of what our beloved media can achieve. It's another step up, and brings gaming closer to term - art.
