1UP's Favorite Games of 2012: The Unfinished Swan

1up.com: Your journey in The Unfinished Swan does not begin in media res during a firefight or epic adventure. Instead, you're thrown into the empty abyss of a stark white world. Well, maybe empty's not the right word for it. By throwing a glob of black paint, your only mechanic outside of moving during this opening segment, you begin to slowly but surely paint the world around you. A wall. A plant. A frog. All of these things exist in the world, but lack definition until you choose to define them. (PS3, The Unfinished Swan)
