This Manages To Make Hitman: Absolution’s Stealth Seem Hilariously Broken

Kotaku - I adore YouTube user Criken. I don't understand how he manages to break games the way he does. Here he is playing Hitman: Absolution, making me feel like I put too much effort into trying to be sneaky when apparently Hitman is more hilarious when you're sloppy about it. (Hitman: Absolution, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

how did the ice cream truck happen?
you know in the middle of the desert i mean, and also, are these legitimate easter eggs or just and edited play through?

It is an Easter egg.

In the desert you scare off all of the Vultures, and shoot them all and Lenny will walk through the desert and get hit by the truck :)

I have yet to buy the game but i am very interested my sweat price point is under $25. I think people are just hating on the game, you name me 5 stealthy games which are good? seriously even MGS and splinter cell have been more action(MGS is my favorite series)

Blood money just set such a high standard that for this game to meet those expections were never gonna be met

for all the bad you do get the contracts mode where its unlimited content

one thing i agree with is how bad the AI is. seriously i can't wait for next gen systems because AI on current consoles suck, most games don't even try anymore(i don't know if its just lazy development)

"seriously i can't wait for next gen systems "
what gave you the idea that anything will change
showtimefolks  +   1064d ago

hope,i don't think we can ever expect a $400 console to do what a high end PC will do, I just hope next systems can do full 1080p in 60FPS and more than 512Ram

that's why i also said maybe its just lazy development, because some games have had great enemy AI, Rage had great enemy AI

"AI on current consoles suck"

On consoles? lol, you mean in general. It's lazy programming, not console hardware.

deus ex human revolution had better AI than Absolution. there if u wander into a hostile area they dont all go batshit. enemies will warn you to leave. and if u go out of sight it will take them longer to find you and attack.

I don't know how this shows broken "Stealth," Aspects it's more just showing off stupid stuff.

The only broken stealth part in the whole video was the tutorial mission and that is just showing you how to play.

I don't get how you got a disagree for saying this? This video is OBVIOUSLY setting the AI on EASY because that's the ONLY way you can get away with doing things like this in the game without being detected. On Purist you can't even WALK without getting caught let alone doing the things you see here in this video.

Funny thing is I have 6 disagrees. Just goes to show you how far games have downgraded that this video is showing off "Stealth," When it's just stupid and people are defending it.

Compared to the BloodMoney one, the AI here isn't that bad.

BloodMoney is the game where you can blow up a dance floor with remote explosives and a few NPC might still keep dancing, completely oblivious of the dead bodies all around them.
