The Happy Enigma Of Kojima's Phantom Pain

GameInformer writes:

"I don’t exactly know what Kojima’s The Phantom Pain is, but I love it because it’s pure Kojima.

When The Phantom Pain was announced at the VGAs recently, it didn’t take long for people to theorize that Kojima’s latest game was actually a Metal Gear game (either Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes or Metal Gear Solid V). I believe this speculation, but who knows if The Phantom Pain is actually a new Metal Gear game, some sort of game-within-a-game like the jail nightmare sequence in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, or simply an elaborate marketing campaign." (Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, PS3, Xbox 360)

Obviously this depends on your taste, but i think there is plenty to be excited about on Vita already to grant a purchase, i love my Vita =)

OT: I think the best part of The Phantom Pain is the mystery of it all.

Sure it looks MGS, and looks current gen... But then again, theres alot of buzz about being a Vita title, as well as using the MGS-likeness to put it out there and be something completely different.

Too often we are just straight up told at E3 what a game is, what it's called, how it'll play and when it'll release then that's it. In this era of everything leaking and in general being more predictable and making less exciting expo's, i welcome the excitement and buzz around the mysteriousness of The Phantom Pain.

More "announcements" of this style please =)
